The baseless claim regarding the &#8220;occupation of the three islands&#8221; reveals either a profound ignorance of the history of the Persian Gulf or the bitter reality that the principles of international law have been sacrificed for the sake of short-term economic interests. The islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa have always been &#8211; and will remain &#8211; an inseparable and permanent part of Iranian territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have put forward these claims at a time when Iran has been subjected to aggression by Israel and the United States on three separate occasions, vital infrastructure has been damaged and 165 innocent children have lost their lives in attacks carried out by the U.S. military.
